A blend from three plots, with varied soils made up of alluvium, granite, sand and flint. The vines are 40 years old. 20 days cold carbonic maceration, then 50% aged in old barrels and 50% in concrete tank for 10 months. 10mg/L SO2 before bottling.
Rose red colour. Notes of roses and spice. More spice than fruit. On the palate it is silky and fresh. Relatively light, with more depth at the back. Elegant, with fine tannin, lots of baking spice, and cherry fruit. The fruit is in the background though, which I really like. Perfume really opens up with air, revealing many layers. Super easy drinking this one.
